Yesterday morning was a rush, I had to collect hat day money, and I had to help Mr Porter with the pictures, and I had to go to the SASP training. Someone else collected money, and Mr Porter told us to come back another time. SASP was really kinda boring... all we did was dress someone up as Santa, which was OK, then we spent the next couple hours talking about volunteering and motivation. We had some pizza, (I owe Fatima $8, Jordan $5, Ms Lucas $2). Then we had to leave earlier than the other schools to watch the play. I don't remember what it was called, but it was funny. It was at Keyano theater and it was pretty hilarious. :) Then we walked back to school, we watched Click (FUNNY!), then we went back home...

No school today! Woot. Planning on going to McDonalds and the mall and the movies to see Twilight again. :)

But I have a cold. :( I can't talk without sounding like I have something stuck in my throat, and I should be freezing right now, but it's really kinda hot.

Exams

I haven't been posting much because, believe it or not, I've been studying for the exams. They are coming up this week, two at a time! How much pressure are they trying to put on us? It's really stupid because we have to finish a science project, too. And we have to finish stories for English! I've been studying extra hard the last two days, so I decided not to do anything at all today, but now I feel guilty for not studying. Ugh. And I'm in a group with Kayla and Brittani and Dean for the science projects, and Dean is definitely not going to do anything. I really don't know what's happening.

Report cards are on the 21st and I really need to get good grades this term.

Lululemon

We didn't go shopping that day, but we did go the next day. We had a time limit of two hours, so we were running around really fast. I ended up getting three new tops and a hoody from Aeropostale, and a hoody from Lululemon. It was 103 bucks, and it took a while to get my parents to buy me it, but I got it in the end. It's a zip-up hoody, and I thought it was orange, but it's actually red. It's really nice, actually, but I got it a size too big. I love it with all my heart and soul. Just kidding, but I really do love it.

We drove back home and I was really, really worried last night about the exams and our stories we are doing for school, but I'm pretty well over it now. I asked Ms. Dingwell when the stories are due, and she said they were due at the end of the week, I thought it was due tomorrow. And I have notes for the exams, and I hear we didn't do much in math and science. They just did a little chart in math and they started a project in science. Tomorrow I have to get the November calender done, I'll take up some time during locker break, because I really don't want to miss my lunch break.

The symposium was OK. We just played games and ate food and did yoga. We did a lot of DPA games and a whole bunch of activites. They gave us these granola bars and fruit to eat, and these disgusting pitas, but it was really OK. They gave us a whole bunch of stuff to take home, and I did get a free T-shirt out of it, haha. When we got back from the symposium, our class was all in phys-ed, so we went to check it out... they were all in the change rooms, and I got a lot of "Oh my gosh Penny, where were you!"'s.

Edmonton Day 2

Last night, we honestly didn't do anything. I stayed yup until three in the morning, watching Fahrenheit 9/11. Michael Moore is the best! But I got really tired in the middle of it so I just went to sleep. This morning someone called me, I don't know who it was... and woke me up. It was around seven, and I barely got four hours of sleep. Oh, well.

Today, when we all woke up, the people that actually live in this house were gone! Missing! Except for one of their sons, he's the same age as me. So we went out and took a look at our house. We bought a house here in Edmonton a while ago and putting it out for rent. It looked good, with the Halloween decorations and everything. There was a new garage, too. Then, we went to the West Edmonton Mall to get some brunch, and we had Boston Pizza. It was good. Then we went to Water World or whatever, just me and my brother and my mom's friend's two sons. We had a lot of fun, and I almost drowned to death. Some of the slides are really scary! Then, we went to a Korean grocery store, because we don't have one in Fort McMurray, and we try to get as much Korean food as possible when we get the chance. I just packed in A LOT of snacks and chips and junk food. A whole shopping cart full, I'm not even kidding. I also got five bottles of Aloe. I love Aloe. Now we are back and it's already 6:30. Hopefully my mom takes time out of her day to take me shopping today, because I find it would be impossible to go tomorrow if we didn't go today... and I didn't come all the way to Edmonton, missing out on Halloween, not to shop. Haha.

I'm really scared about the exams and such, I'm missing out on a lot of school with student council and SASP. I already missed two whole days last week, and I know I will be missing the whole day on Monday, too. Exams are coming quick and I'm really worried. I am especially confused with math, and I have to get going on my story for English. Science... I'm just always sucky at science, and we don't do much in socials, so I'm not worrying. I missed a lot of phys-ed, too. And we have French on Monday! Too bad I can't go, I love French...
